Bill Monroe has no doubt influenced my music, along with the many musicians who play bluegrass -- Earl Scruggs and Kenny Baker stand out first. Ralph Stanley is another key player in my learning. Both clawhammer and 3-finger arrangements of tunes are in my repertoire.  The pace may be slower, but some of us like the melody slowed down even better.
